What is art?
to ask this question to me, i feel, is like asking a dog why it wags its tail. It's simply what I do. Art is like a drug. It's hard to explain in a complex sort of way. Not everyone does it, but those who do are affected on a deeper level. It's my way of connecting to things on a more profound level than what one can see and feel, My art, while on the surface may just look like just a face, or just a thing; still. all has a message. It all says something further than what's just clearly laid flat out on the surface. My hope for my art is for it to evolve. Eventually to the point where it is able to inspire, and tell a personal story to anyone who may see it. My message of art relates to all artwork. Looking deeper in your artwork to see it as something more than what it is, is what makes art so intense. Look further and try to understand what someone means when they say that they see blue when its red, or purple when it's green. That, is what makes art the drug that it is.
