Favorite Visual Artist?

My favorite visual artist of all time is the japanese director, producer, screenwriter, animator, author, and manga artist Hayao Miyazaki. Hayao Miyazaki is in my opinion easily one of the best animators of all time. His work, in essence just holds so much power and depth in their messages. This trait in itself inspires me to create power from simple art. I couldnt possible choose a favorite movie of his, just because all of them have so much in them. One of them however, would have to be Ponyo.  A contributing reason to his movie's success i believe is because of the hard  lifestyle he had as a kid. As a 3 year old in japan during WWII, Miyazaki was exposed to many things a child shouldnt. Despite this, though he still triumphed with his career and ability to create powerful works of film that will easily be left in the minds of everyone.
